  this comes to mind as trump has been throwing the word "god" around.

  How long did people like Methuselah really live?

  i was working today and my brain was working in circles like it often does and i started wondering about what i was always told about people like methuselah in bible times, and their incredibly claims of longevity.

  i've tried researching things but have a hard time getting through all of the bible thumpers to some real evidence, and figured that some here may be more informed or have done the research previously.

  so, did people really live longer way back when?

  How to reply when someone asks about your spiritual health

  first of all, sorry if i cannot correctly express the original expression used in my native language to ask for the "spiritual condition".. a few years ago some member of the family asks my wife directly how is her "spiritual health" (for me it's one of the many strange vocabulary used by jw like "the slave says...").

  she was catched by surprise with the direct question and says that everything is ok... and luckily someone call them for lunch.. my question is: do you have any good answers for that question?

  you can be ironic/use some humor because the question is a little bit anecdotical .

  These bastards do nothing for the poor in that country. They won't fight in wars to defend their country. They won't respect the countries laws if it clashes with their I'll founded cultic doctrines . They won't respect the national flag or show patriotic pride by singing the National Anthem.How the fcuk do they come up with being "patriotic"? Are they trying to brainwash the judicial system of that country too? Hell Indian Judiciary! Wake up to the fact that these are parasites in every country they exist in.   romans 13 : 1-7 "let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities" etc,"the existing authourities stand placed in their relative positions by god" 2".therefore he who opposers the authourity has taken a stand against the arrangement of god ,those who have taken a stand against it will recieve judgement to themselves "etc,etc,.."..to him who calls for honour such honour.".

  isnt this plainly stating that christians should be supporting and playing along with the governments of this sytem of things ?
