IMO. There are three essentials that stop Watchtards from breaking away.
1. A certain comfort level they have developed within the village despite CD. The false sense of security ( from the wicked world) among their'loving' brothers and sisters coupled with the exclusivity that goes with their retarded mind sets programmed by the mind control, doctrinal mumbo-jumbo . Some are so dependent on people within the organization that they will not interact with anyone else outside the org. A few yers ago one Eldub told me he was getting his taxes done by a sister who was charging him $350. This guy is a retired carpet cleaner and he and his wife get SS. When I told him I got mine done for $ 125 from an outside agent ,he looked at me in disbelief. He still gets it done by the sister-who, by the way, is an eldubs wife in a neighboring congregation.
2. Relatives and loved ones shunning them and the sense of shame that shunning generates. Rejection is a terrible psychological wall that few care to climb over.
3. "Lord whom shall we go to .You have the sayings of everlasting life." Most of them believe this is the 'truth', I had one tell me , and I quote," God has always had an organization. Look at David, look at Solomon . They were imperfect. A murderer and an apostate.Yet god continued to use their headship and run his organization through them.The GB isn't made up of perfect men.But god has appointed them. So we just need to wait on J just like the Isrealites did. In the end god rectified things. Show me one organization on earth that has the truth and I will listen to what you have to say." People like him are never gonna break away . They are BELIEVERS and will always try to find fallacious arguments to justify their beliefs. Masochism is a big part of some of their mental makeup. CD is brushed aside with scriptures that inform them so- 'dissenting' with the WORG - is "murmurings" that god asks us to guard against ". And their god knows the WORG has beaten this drum into their thick skulls, and rivited it on with 'threats of HELL and hopes of PARADISE'.

A god who sends his prodigy to preach only to a certain arbitarily selected tribe of people who are not going to listen or obey. His preaching/teaching was for "all men". So their holy book claims. Never in any of the documented history of this particular people has their messiah ever spoken to a black man ;nor do these make mention of any other group/tibe or race of people being addressed.All their heroes are of the tribe yet the world is asked to believe that their diety is a god for everyone. The tribes came out of Egypt. Freed from slavery by their diety. What of the other slaves not from their tribes? No mention is made of them or what their fate was after the tribals left for the promised land. Why would a 'just diety' rescue a certain group of people from slavery while abandoning others who were suffering the same fate if he was a god for "all men". The OP is one of the many glaring examples of the condonation of slavery by a diety who is,supposedly touted as a god of love. -

American Sniper - courage or cowardice?
by Simon inthe movie american sniper is breaking box office records and of course there is some irony that a movie about a sniper is released on martin luther king day (who was shot by one).. but of course there is a world of difference between an assassin and a military sniper ... or is there?.
some are making a big stink about it and claiming that "snipers are cowards".
it seems unfair to me.

A sniper is somebody who is streets ahead of the rest in marksmanship. A terrorist ,on the other hand, is a fanatic ,who is equally willing to die or kill unless he gets what he wants. Beheading innocent journalists or Japanese .nationals unless somebody forks over 200 million, is absolutely kosher ;as is rape and slaughter of millions of innocents. They are well armed and can ifiltrate countries at will.
Sniping is a tactic that allows defenders to combat a fanatical enemy effectively on the battlefield and around it. So how does fat mouth Moore, a moronically wet under-the-arms inspired idiot, , try to psyco-equate a person's ability with a weapon to an emotional issue? What are you really trying to say Mr. Moore? ? Every sniper is a coward or every coward is a sniper? Here's a scenario for your fat -headed wizardry. Your dum' fat ass is twisting under a fanatics knife where he is ripe n ready to behead you- unless your family slips him a few from the mllions you've made. A marksman with a sniping rifle has the knife weilder in his sights; say from 880 meters away. You know it . You've gotta wink to let the sniper know you want him to take the axman out. Now comes a double-edged ,heavy-lidded moral deliema for you Moore. Whatch ya gonna do? Are ya gonna ask a 'coward' to save your courageous dum' ass or forego the wink for a slice of dubious psychoanalysis? My money's on the wink!! A second bet that you call him a hero after!!! What were the calculations used to arrive at the 1874 date of Christ's return?
by Zoos inwe all know the calculations used by the wt to arrive at 1914. fall of babylon in 607 (false year), gentile times, no zero year, ta-da, 1914.. what did they use before that?
i know it wasn't russell who came up with it - he just adopted it.
i'm just curious what they had to explain away when they made the transition.. .

Your favourite dog breed ...?
by LoveUniHateExams inin an earlier thread, i mentioned that i wasn't a particularly doggy person but that my parents got a husky last year that i've come to regard as a kind of brother.. huskies superficially resemble wolves and for me it's been fun to compare and contrast husky and wolf behaviour.
huskies howl but rarely bark, and seem to have a strong prey drive and a strong pack instinct - a nod to their wild cousins.
this is why i love huskies, i think.. do you have a favourite dog breed and why?.
