  The urban legends we heard as JWs!

  how often have we heard some sort of sensationalist urban legend as jws?.

  here is an example i was told as a kid:.

  the experience of a sister who knocked on a door and was greeted by a big fierce looking man- intimidating and mean.

  Here’s one that may sound familiar. A sister was doing a row of houses and had just finish d the last one and was tired. Just then she spotted another house a bit farther up . She was about to finish for the day and had no energy to walk up to that house a distance away. But something within n her urged her to and she walked tiredly up to the house and knocked. Inside was a man who was about to comit suicide as he had financial troubles and the family was sick etc.

  He invited her in and took a study . Within a month he and his family were studying to be baptized and his financial situation improved and now the whole family is pioneering.

  I don’t remember the exact way it went ( told about 49 years ago) but something to do with the brothers apprehending an imposter or a spy maybe, at a convention who claimed to be a witness. When asked to state Matt 24: 14 the guy was stumped. Handed over to the police.

  "This Good news Of The Kingdom Will Be Preached In All The Inhabited Earth" ........

  ..".for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come" .matt.24:14.. the religion of jehovah`s witnesses kid themselves into thinking they are filling or have fulfilled this prophecy/scripture .. given that you take the jehovah`s witnesses and the international bible students association as one and the same religion , then they have been preaching their message primarily within lands that are predominantly christian based.....and certainly do not cover "all the inhabited earth " as their are many populous non christian nations nations that do not allow, even forbid any proselytizing in their lands.

  i would estimate about one third of the current world population.. but that is not all .. given that you take the jehovah`s witnesses and the international bible students association as one and the same religion ,then they have about 140 years of preaching their beliefs to the public specifically to preach "this good news of the kingdom " as they claim to do in obedience to j.c.commands at matt.24:14.. take a survey no matter where you live on this planet earth of the people in your locality and if you asked them "what was the message jehovah`s witnesses left you and no one would be able to say "they told me about and explained to me the good news of the kingdom" and what it would mean to me.. no one would be able to say that .after 140 years of preaching and witnessing by what is now 8 million plus jehovah`s witnesses .. what a waste of time and energy and lives .. after 140 years of preaching what do the public know about jehovah`s witnesses ?.

If ever they was a cowardly bunch of poorly schooled idiots, who run at the first sign of a rational debate pointing out the flaws in their teachings, then Jobo’s mighty mouse brigade wins the rats soiled underwear! Be so bold oh courageous preachers of your desert god to enter the Muslim countries mentioned and try spewing your meaningless preachers bilge .

  They do no work, walk like zombies distributing pamphlets which nobody wants, have the worst reputation as workers under another dubs employment, sloth and laziness marks their preaching abilities can’t bear to have truth about their religion told to them . And these are an imaginary gods chosen people! As for the preaching work- they have an excuse too! Matt10: 23!

  How ironic that they live in an imaginary world full of lies, deceit, unacknowleged pedophilia and an irrational fear of the real world!!

  the org's fear theme has really been emphasized recently- the bunker video and now the convention video with jws being pursued by guys with assault rifles.

  this image comes from the watchtower july 2017 questions from readers: would it be fitting for a christian to keep a firearm, such as a handgun or a rifle, for protection against other humans?.
