I have only seen one episode of "Sex & the City" (I don't have HBO) but on that show I could relate to all of the women...have a lot of catching up to do with reruns...

I actually was thinking of voting this year...especially after what happened with the last election and do feel that every vote should count and that an individual can make a difference in this world.
I got a voter's registration form for the first time in my life.

I put all of my lit in the trash where it belongs.
it is 17 years now since i got clean from drugs!

i quit cold turkey 17 years ago with no slips since!.

I am happy for you and Angharad...that you found your soul mate. I can relate to the loneliness you felt within the organization and living alone and "doing all that you're supposed to do". But, still feeling the loneliness. My mother was disfellowshipped when I was 10 and all the while growing up in the org. being told that she would die at Armaggedon if she was disfellowshipped left a huge void in my heart that no one can replace.
I can't believe that they claimed to know where Jehovah lives, I've never heard of the plaides...is it a galaxy or something?
Anyway, your story is very interesting and thank you for sharing it...look forward to reading more!

i would like to make a special wish to my sister who has a congenital heart defect: and that is to always follow her heart of hearts and she will always know the way to go in life because, she has such a big and good heart it could never lead her astray.
february 14 officially became chda day here in new york a while back to make people more aware of the seriousness of congenital heart defects and i would like to share a picture with all of you.

My sister is really a tough cookie, she has never given up despite all of the odds (even within the organization). She has stood before many doctors and told them her stand on the blood issue and in her life time has "witnessed" to many the society never reached. The sad story is that after this much loyalty on something as serious as life and death with the blood issue, the society hasn't been as loyal to her (I won't go into her personal story).

heh, i am getting ready to go to work and then i am having my latest beau over for sunday dinner.
Well, I woke up this mornin and instead of walking 5 blocks to the KH I walked in the opposite direction 5 blocks to Starbucks, LOL
Then I came back home and got on the computer to let everyone here know what perverts they have working in the art department at Bethel.
Then after running an erand in midtown, I came back home and fixed a salmon and some salad and then I had some left over chocolate covered strawberries that I made for Valentines Day...
The most spiritual part of my day was cleaning my dirty laundry down in the basement this evening
