  Watchtower Memorial Day makes local UK newspaper

  a tragic, but honest, story.

  well written, in my opinion.. i'd like to see how the local jw's would handle this being mentioned to them this saturday morning in the ministry.. it's just a shame it's only a local newspaper, not a national.. www.bucksherald.co.uk/news/more-news/former-jehovah-s-witness-leaves-memorial-to-family-who-shunned-her-1-6206648.

  The elders are 'letting me fade'

  i attended my last meeting in january 2014, having realised that i'd been lied to for 20+ years (i'm now 43 y/o).

  rumours spread of my 'apostasy'.. in may, cobe contacted me inviting me to a private meeting with elders at the kh.

  (no mention of the meeting being a jc).

  Child Protection Liaison Committee

  if the wtbts can have a hospital liaison committee (hlc), then why not a child protection liaison committee (cplc)?.

  elders can form positive relations with police and children's services before an incident is reported.. make it clear that the wtbts has a zero tolerance attitude to child abuse, and has a desire to root out this evil as soon as it is exposed.. co-operate with the appropriate organizations to protect the abused, not to protect the abuser/image of the wtbts.. if it is important to ensure that blood is not administered, then surely it is more important to protect vulnerable children from abuse that will affect them for the rest of their lives?.
