I have relatives and friends who are gay, and I would never judge them based on their sexuality.
Discrimination stinks no matter what criteria you use as your bench mark.
The Borg are full of people with biases and I am against anything that remotely reminds me of their small minded thinking.
My best friend from high school, (who is happily engaged and will be married this fall... gay marriage is legal in Quebec) is gay... I actually became best friends with him while I was a witness... my last roomate was gay also... (made for some interesting parties!)
It would never make a difference to me if a person was gay or not... who cares? a good friend is a good friend.
You know, if this was 100 years ago, we would be asking "Would you not be friends with someone because they are black?"

I'd like to say that a person's sexuality has no bearing on how I feel about them. However, I tend to feel warmer towards gay folk than straights, maybe because I feel bad about how they get treated much of the time.
How could I refuse to associate with gay people, when maybe 1 in 5 of my buddies is gay/bi, members of my family are gay/bi, my former fiance' is gay, and a bunch of my regular customers are gay and have turned my shop into our town's only gay hangout? Sheesh, they're everywhere! I just couldn't see cutting all these people out of my life because I couldn't handle what they do in their own beds, just as I surely hope they're not concerning themselves too much with my sex life.
