Our collective hearts are all wrenching for you. I always prided myself, as an elder, on chronology since it appeared so intellectual. Looking back, I honestly never went the full mile in researching it like several of the posts in this thread.
What got me was something simple, it was (and is) their dishonesty. Pointing out dishonest and documented (in WT's own words) coverups requires no complex chronology, it needs no doctrinal interpretation, and you doesn't even need a Bible by your side. Every parent teaches it, all societies of the earth honor it and the courts of the land are ruled by it.
