My friend was "Public Reprooved" for Bestuality. Is this crazy to you?

I have a good JW friend that I have known since I was 10 years old (I am 40). My friend I'll will call her "Sue" One day "Sue" came to me crying uncontrollably and told me that the elders were putting her on Public Reproof because it was reported to them that she was allowing her dogs to lick her face and she was kissing her cats. Sue has loved animals since she was 5 years old and she treats her pets as if they are her kids. One day a nosey JW sister from Sue's kingdom hall came over Sue's house and witnessed Sue being very loving towards her pets. The sister ran to the elders and snitched on Sue. The elders told Sue that this is a form of bestuality when you allow animals to lick your face and you are kissing your cats or dogs. I thought that I had heard everything until this. I think this is the most craziest thing that I have ever heard in my life. But I know the elders in Sue's congregation and they are like dictators. Sue feels that she should sue the elders for slander and deformation of characters because people are gossiping about her calling her a "pervert". She also feels she should sue the nosey JW sister that reported her to the elders. What should she do? The elders warned her that if they hear anymore reports of her being loving to her pets she will be "disfellowshipped".

Do they seriously think that what you described is beastiality? Face licking? I can see if she was having the pet lick her somewhere else or vice versa? I'm confused.

They really do df people for bestiality in third world countries - it happens.

There are lots of nut-ball elders in this organization. The Society doesn't bother to rein them in.

Having served as an elder in a number of congregations, I would vouch for the fact that many elders are control freaks.

However, I would take this story with a pinch of salt myself, even the dumbest body of elders would not go as far as this.

Well, I would suggest that she buy the elders a dictionary, because they obviously don't know the meaning of the word "beastiality".

Aside from that though, when you consider where cat's tongues have been, I don't think I would let them lick my face.
