3rd generation. grandparents on one side took some literature, and started preaching right away. They had been methodists. grandpa on other side found a mag in trash, read it and the rest is history.

a mixture.
The first contact was at my mom's place: cold and pouring and my mom invited them in for a cup of coffee to get warm, under reserve that they did'nt talk about their believes.
They came back and eventually start talking for almost 20 years (until my father died), then my mother finally decided to visit the Kingdom Hall - and since I was the one who drived her there - I was sucked in too.... -
