This thread has all the quotes you would ever need on how the WTBTS treats disfellowshipped ones. I started the thread, thinking, "Big deal, old news. No way I can use a 1952 quote to impress a JW." But the thread goes on and on, right up to present day. Today, Dansk provides a "before and after" quote from the official WTS website. The new fersion is a cagy job by their PR folks, pretending they don't shun former members by carefully avoiding the subject.
