Why do WE make it harder?

It's not US who have made it harder. It's the WTS/GB that have made it "harder" (actually, they've made it absolutely ludicrous).

I personally remember when "that generation" was anyone "of age" to recall the events that marked the beginning of the End of the System of Things in 1914. (Thus, someone 14 or 15 years of age in 1914, born around 1900. Oct 8, 1968 Awake)

A few years later, it was anyone who could possibly recall the tragic events that marked the beginning of the End of the System of Things in 1914. (Even someone around 10 years old in 1914, or even younger perhaps, but not babies. WT Oct 1, 1978)

OOPS! Retract that last definition. NEW LIGHT! NOW IT DOES INCLUDE BABIES! (WT May 15, 1984)BUT, as "this system" drug on, it was anyone born in 1914. Yes they were well past the 70 (or 80 years) that the Bible gives to a person's lifespan. (Awake Apr 8, 1988)
