A unscrupulous businessman got into office who doesn't have a proven track record of even being a good businessman. Add in the fact he had no experience in politics, let a lone the highest level of politics in the nation, could these pertaining elements effect his performance as the president ?

What do you consider a good business man? A business man who builds a fortune for himself? Or a business man who creates a successful business?
r You can say that about all of the above about any President. There are better Presidents and there are worse Presidents. Sure Trump is no Nixon or Reagan, but he also isn't an Obama or Buchanan.
We have seen Trump manage 2 economic recoveries, 1 after a disastrous administration that led the slowest recovery in world history and 1 after a disastrous virus that shut down the world economy
We have about as much COVID-19 infections/deaths as a country than many single EU states which are smaller than the average US state.
The question for all these people bellyaching: Would you rather live in the US right now under Trump or you can pick any Chinese or EU state - if you do, why haven't you moved yet.
As an immigrant, I can tell you, I wouldn't want to live in the EU right now, my parents still can't move more than a few miles out of their own house, they need papers to go to the beach they live near, they can't bike and people are dying en masse while their overburdened hospitals got ventilators and masks that are fully defective from China. Oh yeah, and that is 'free healthcare', the promise of free is great but not if you can't get it, not if your average wait time for a dentist is 18 months and you can go to the doctor once every other year as a senior. My mother's tooth was split open for 2 weeks before they would see her at an emergency dentist.
There is actually a challenge open right now for any Hollywood type to give up all their money to a good cause and move to either CHAZ in Seattle or somewhere in China or somewhere in North Korea, any communist/socialist experiment around the world, all moving expenses will be paid.
President Trump used to donate to all the politicians - how they loved his moolah and appearance at socials. Trump's beautiful women always gave ole Horndog Bill something to only dream of on his arm.
So what if Trump lies. It's not about Trump. I was against trump until the Kavanagh hearings. Then it was a case of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." My enemy is the metoo and that is Trump and Kavanagh's enemy. Thus I support Trump.

Also the ones that are against Trump are just evil. They insult and call names and are just focused on being against Trump. Look at the Russia investigation and the impeachment. All a waste.

It would be good for you and other US citizens and the president to listen to Dr. Fauci.
A lot of the testing are results of the under 35-40 age group out socializing/clubbing and not social distancing or wearing masks. They've been cooped up for mos and are celebrating tad too much. Fauci already told them online dating/sex was okay -- unimaginable!
I'm told the younger generation today has a totally different lifestyle compared to a decade ago.
