(quote from the 1930's) I've heard the clarian call on other boards that if you are not or were not a soldier then you have no right to talk about America. Be it good or bad. When I had the gall a while back when Bush kept talking and every time he opened his f-kin mouth the stock market dropped I said he should either start the war or just shut up. In fact he should just shut up. I was told that if I were in a fox hole with this "patriot" he would blow my Fkin head off he would shoot me in the back. He would bayonet me in the A** and let the s**t flow out of my mouth. All because I said that a guy who is not a very good speaker should stop talking so much. The point is his opinion is is you have not been a soldier then you have no right to an opinion about war. Well, here is my answer. If you have not been a politician then you have no right to an opinion about politics. I have served as a politican so I have a right I've done my time. Do I believe that? No, but while I thank you very much for your service that service does not mean that I have to shut up. Unless you want to respect your unright to comment on politics that is. It is telling how once again only emotion and propaganda is debated. The UN link, ignored. The link showing the falsity of the Bush IQ urban legend is dismissed, why? Because it does not suit the agenda. But, people can decide who is showing fact and who is showing fiction.

i didn't read the whole thread so someone probably pointed this out already....the US has lost 80 (!!!) man since the beginning of the war due to enemy fire. has there ever been a war with less losses????????????????????????????

does anyone really expect bush to pull out of iraq because of these losses thereby giving up everything he gained by this instigated war? totally absurd idea!

GW in office? Well I have said many times Gore or Bush whatever. But, the tax cuts will definatly help with my five figure federal tax bill. The child credit will help. When the stock maket fell I made five figures off of it because I knew that the Clinton dream boat was a sham. I stayed clear of the (10 years of glory) mess. See the thing is Bush did not cause the recession and Clinton did not cause the bubble. But I honestly doubt that you understand that. Do you really think things would be a bed of roses with Gore? Do you really think that Iraq is better of with Saddam? Why did you ignore the "impeachment" issue and promote urban legends as fact and then move on to other things? You seem to slide away from what you say alot and just insult instead.

btw-I thought that the thread was about the troops in Iraq. Is Bush all you see as the problem? help me out here.

Because if Bush & Co died today I still see the US as needed to stay in Iraq.

After I said I was leaving this board I did a lot of soul searching. I dug way down deep inside. You see I am a Christian and that makes me a very happy person inside as well as outside. I had to be reminded that Jesus taught to love your neighbor. He did not say only the ones who believe like you he said love all your fellowman. Not to love what they do but the fact that everyone is just like me in every way.

I want to be a friend to all of you here and I vow not to act selfishly again towards any of you as we all have our opinions about things and we all have the right to share that. We all may not agree with one another but thats a normal thing. Besides you know the saying "opinions are like arseholes everybody has one" (LOL) So now that I got this off my chest I will also not do something else too. I will not argue with you about anything, I will simply state how I feel about something or express my feelings but I will not argue with anyone here, I hate that with a passion. Arguements brings anger with brings hate and it is not me or even part of me to be that way. It's not healthy. Discussion is healthy but not anger.

Back to the subject..........yes the troops should be pulled out of Iraq. Both the US and UK forces did their job...very well. They deserve to come home, back to their families etc. Otherwise they will be sitting ducks. A multinational peace keeping force can be installed whilst the country gets back on its feet.
