Personally, I don't like it when foreigners point out to me what's wrong with my country, even if they happen to be correct in their assessment. It really pisses me off actually. I just assumed that the Americans would probably feel the same way if they had too much of it from the Brits. Even when the assessment is accurate.

i think youve hit the nail on the head as far as what many are probably feeling. personally, i dont care about the constant criticisms....in fact, i think its funny that some people have nothing better to do than obsess about bush and company. but, i think there are probably a lot of americans who do get sick of seeing thread after thread about how evil the american government is, and how everything america does on the world map is completely wrong and injust, and how the u.s. government was actually behind 9/11, etc, etc. are these the same people that supposedly want to regularly broadcast their extreme views about how america should be worshiped, and never have their words censored? i think thats a bit farfetched myself, but who knows.

If you think that bashing one person or a small group of people is bashing my whole country your really all a bunch of ignorant little peons with very little intelligence. I love my country and I am proud to be an American. Because I do not support the one who is running it does not make me an American hater. GOT THAT ?

I fought for my freedom and I fought for all those here in this country, Tell me something to those of you who call me an American basher. Did you fight for your country? Probably not and you better know this too, when I fought for my country I was also fighting for your country too. The Brittish as we always fight along side of each other.

Jayson as far as that link you put up on your post it could be real and it also could be made up but put this into perspective. When Bush took office our economy went right into the gutter, families are being broken and homes are being lost. The last 10 years before that we were better off than we had been in a very long time. The obvious is obvious, I`m sorry if some of you are so blided that you cannot see or maybe you just don't want to see because like the JW's they refuse to see the difference between right and wrong.

As far as what kind of post should be made here ? Well I think it should be open to the person making them and if your not interested in the post then why the hell are you here. GET OUT if you don't like the discussion. Noone is bending your arm to be here or to reply to any of the post.

And as far as me bashing some person from Canada goes, maybe you should go back and read all the replies before you comment on my comment as this guy from Canada made some pretty rude and out of place remarks about me first. Calling me an idiot and etc. Oh thats right you have the right to bash but don't ever bash me back is that it? if so then your a real dumb ass and your one I would really enjoy taking out to the back 40.

Now I am going to say one more thing Leave Simon the hell alone. I know what you mean. I have the stab marks and a few bullet wounds as well as a "surpressed" DD214 to prove my "donation" to our great country.

I just get real tired of the ignorance associated with the american people when it comes to what really is going on in the world today and the constant grinding away of our freedoms. Soon america will be a "Police State".

nice rant.....but im wondering, who said you were bashing america? who called you an american hater? who exactly are you calling "ignorant little peons with very little intelligence"? or are you just shouting into the wind? i looked back over the thread and couldnt find one single poster that, after addressing you, went on to talk about america bashing.............but maybe i just missed it.
