    Ha ha ha ha ha!

Is that when a small bottle moves under its own power?

Embrace as a lover might the curative potency of a dictionary.

If you can find out the congregation he attends, tell the elders. Since they aren't checking police blotters, they won't know of an accusation unless he is convicted or tells them. IF he goes to jail. Maybe. So, send them a copy of the police report. This might protect some people in his congregation, if someone knows. It might just be those close to elders, but. . .

It's not sapposed to be a normal practice but because JW use laws such as the two witness rule "Must be two witnesses or it didn't happen" It makes it a prime religion for pedofiles and sexual predators to hide in.

As can be seen in the above^ I personally stopped going to meetings long ago after I hit 18 but mostly because the teaching is repetitive and brain washing and I still have family in it which are very brain washed and who told me that even if the US news had cases of child pedofilia that they would simply not listen to it cause the watch tower society is always "true" and everything else is apostasy. The best advice I can give you is go directly to the authorities don't go through the elders because it will be swept under the rug or they will try to make you believe that it was your own fault anything to get the organization safe. They are already paying out millions of dollars of sex case and court fees for failure to release documents and such. Which is why they are talking about cutting back and have started to move out of Brooklyn NY to move to warwick.

Thanks for all the replies, and sorry I don't know how to quote, but I'll try to answer all of the questions. First of all, I found this site through Google. I joined the site at first because I had become friends with this guy and just wanted to learn about his faith he was always talking about. I had no desire to join their group, as I've heard too many horror stories and also because I balked at the idea of them having that much control, but then when this happened, I of course went to the police even though that scares me, and I have been talking to my family and will tell my therapist about it when I go tomorrow.

To all these people saying this is fake, I'm not sure how I can prove to you that I'm not fake, but I assure you that I have a lot better things to do with my time than coming on a messageboard and making up a disturbing story. I don't know if people have done that to you before, but if so, that is sick.

Sequoia ,what have the police done since you reported it. Are you an adult ? or an under age child ? What have your family said or done about your allegations ? Have you engaged a lawyer to sue him ? A therapist ?your seeing a therapist ?

Do you see that their are so many unanswered questions here that beggars belief ?

While I give you the benefit of the doubt answers to the above questions will go a long way to believing you.

Okay, this just happened five days ago. I have told a few people close to me and also the police. This is embarrassing, but I couldn't tell them how to find the dude because at the time I didn't know his last name. I don't know whether to press charges because I had agreed to date him literally right before he did it. I am 30 years old btw, so there is no underage creepiness.

I met him about a year and a half ago, but we hadn't seen each other in a while until about two weeks ago, and we've been talking. When I ran into him on Wednesday, we walked and chatted for a bit, and he kept saying he was in love with me. I am disabled and also have a lot of anxiety and depression, so I fell for his B.S. He took me to his house to play music and meet his daughters and give one of them piano lessons, and then as soon as we got in the house, he started pawing me, and then the next thing I knew, I'm trying to be nice here, he was going way farther than I was even close to thinking about going. I tried to tell him I didn't like what was going on and that it felt weird and hurt really bad, but I was also very bewildered and confused, so I don't know if I was clear. I just sort of went into shock when it was happening and afterwards. Heck I still can't believe it happened, but I keep beating myself up thinking that if I hadn't been so stupid i would have seen through his crap and told him to get lost.

I'm sorry I was not clearer in my first posts. I've still been having a hard time talking about it, but I just posted the question here because I found it really puzzling that after he took advantage of me, he preached at me. That is probably a dumb thing to keep obsessing about. I guess maybe at the time I wasn't able to deal with the whole thing, so I obsessed on the things he said about my faith.

    Absolutely press charges.

It doesn't matter if you agreed to date him. This was in no way your fault. He is a predator and you should press charges or the behavior will likely continue.

The problem with JWs is they can be so concerned about sex being a "sin" they forget the more important issues of respect and consent. He probably still thinks about the event in terms of sin rather than criminality. Hopefully the police and authorities will clear up the difference in his mind when they catch up with him.
