I remember a sister who had a bible study with a woman whose rough type husband would sit in. One day he found out that Jesus was a Jew which was new to him. He went off to share that with his buddies at the bar and was promptly punched out...police called.

A lot of Jewish hatred comes from religious intolerance or nonacceptance, suspicion, false accusations that relate to the sect.
Intolerance as in Christians hating Jews, Muslims hating Jews and so on.
Religion can spearhead that hatred under a guise that particular religion is against their own inherent religion and the members who belong to it.
