All the home school moms that counted the Ministry School as part of their curriculum are going to be bummed about this.

Did they have to go away with "school" couple years ago l heard that brothers who were in the child molester list couldn't attend the meeting. Because the meeting was referred to a school.

Doesn't using the term "students" indicate there might still be a school? What isn't addressed is whether there will be "council" after each talk. I guess there could still be a second school also, just not on first month's meeting. But only one bible reading by a brother, not student. Does that mean no more five year olds reading about fornication, death and dismemberment? That might actually be the best outcome of this mess of a change.

Our Kingdom Ministry is being replaced by a new four-color, eight-page monthly publication entitled Our Christian Life and Ministry—Meeting Workbook (mwb).

If this new workbook has no announcements and no stats then the only way the rank and file will know about "theocratic increase" is via the yearbook. They won't see any more monthly decreases that used to be in the older Kingdom Ministry. Is the monthly average low in the USA? No one will know anymore, all they will have is the congregation average which the CO can use when considering appointments.

Are you joking? That is legit? Some are/were really doing this and it was accepted by authorities?

If they will not be placing the Wt and Awake together, this means the magazine placement numbers will drop by half. At least for the ones not lying on their reports!

Oh very legit. Some use it on their transcripts they submit to the authorities on their state that oversee homeschooling.

They show the "text book" used and the class assignments and grades etc.

Nice deal for the mom because she gets to show she is really seeking out opportunities for her home schooled child.

Older students get a credit in public speaking from being on the school in some cases.

Very much a "thing" among homeschooling JWs

They will rename them when they do that (combine them into one), probably somethings stupid.

    "Kingdom Treasure Trove of Goodies"

    "Smartification of Jeehobies people"

    "Cult Bimonthly"

what else could they name it?

That's amazing! It also explains a few things I've noticed about home-schooled pupils. I had no idea that standards were so lax to accept this sort of thing!

Pushing the electronic gadgets, and a "new" mid-week meeting that isn't really new at all, just shuffled the same ol' stuff around so the sheeple will ooh and aw, and spout off about how fast things are moving, when they are just sitting in one place.

First they cut the size of the public mags in half, now they cut the number in half. The oh so special "study" WT was basically cut in half already.

    More use of centralized videos.

Much of the "new" crap will just push the elderly further out the back door as they try to drag in new recruits through the front door.
