Jesus was not born on december 25. that is not his birthday. why is this day observed as Jesus's birthday? Because some christians thought it was fine to mingle christianity with paganism. The bible say that light has nothing to do with darkness. think about these facts if you celebrate Christmas.

Jesus did not return in 1914. That is not the date of his return. Why is this day observed as Jesus's return by Jehovah's Witnesses? Because a false prophet predicted that the end of the world would come in that year and when that did not happen the then president of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society moved Jesus return date from 1874 to 1914 to cover up the false prophecies. The bible says that light has nothing to do with darkness. think about these facts if you are one of Jehovah's Witnesses and promote Jesus return in 1914.

    Romans 14:4-8:

Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
Should we believe comforter, or the Bible?

    Holy Shite,

You mean December 25th isn't Jesus' birthday?!!!

Since it's a pagan holiday, I guess that I can't buy my family presents, invite them over for a delicious meal, sing songs of praise with them and give my thanks to God for his loving kindness.

Thank you, kind sir. If it weren't for you, I might have had some fun and enriched my life with the love of God and my family this December. Thank you for warning me that God would never be pleased with this sort of behavior on December 25.

    Love,

    Robyn

paganism is associated with darkness according to Paul. Read 1 and 2 corinthians.

You taking Romans 14 out of context. That verse is saying that days approved by God under the Mosaic law may be judged the same or special. still, no one should impute any saving religious importance to those days. You can find this out in Galatians 4:8-11.

You dont need to set aside a false religious day to show kindness to others. Recall them Israelites that had a festival to Jehovah in the wilderness? their festival to God was really a party for the demons.
