Was 'Servant' in old (pre 1972) arrangement and elder for over 30 years before getting out

got my forty homey?
I served as a full time servant for three years and a Bethelite for one year in Brooklyn.
Never acheived any titles however, but I was assistant magazine servant, assitant microphone overseer, kingdom hall caretaker.

I thought this was an interesting thread by just2laws, a former elder. One comment I liked in his initial comments: " You are not crazy nor are you evil for being here"
Some of us new ones (posters) still attending meetings, need these kinds of comments from former elders etc.
If you're a new lurking elder....this is a good post for you to read.
