Thanks for this Thread Clarity ! It gives me hope !

Up until recently I believed that I would be dead and long gone by the time the WT ship hit the Iceburg.

It now seems that at least I may see it beginning to sink, ( I am in my 60's), even if I do not see its final disappearing as it sinks to the bottom.

It may well be that the "Tipping Point" has been reached, and we can just watch it slide away, hopefully with all our family and friends safe aboard a lifeboat or better still, rescue ship.

I hope we do reach a tipping point, but personally I haven't noticed more newbies than usual. I wish there was some way to quantify it.

I would also like to find the approx # of people who are now jw's,

added up with the number of thoses who have left. In other words,

the total # of people who have ever been jehovah's witnesses.

M ust be a total # of baptisms etc, some where!

The rate of membership here varies, but when I start noticing dozens of

new names onboard, that's what triggers the NEWBIE list........

just feels great to say "hi, how are you pal.... welcome home!"

that I and my fam' did....

607 and overlapping generations was the beginning, and the "here's how

you can donate more and more and more" was definitely a show of

their greedy little hands! Life is much more happy now!
