Well, maybe they ARE the Anglo American World Power. After all, they do have their offices in Brooklyn and in spitting distance from the United Nations.

Yes and even from the new head quarters they have only one bridge to cross to link up. No more indirect references to selling BROOKLYN Bridge any more. We are not SHAM salesmen!

"Those who are convinced that The Watchtower is publishing the opinion or expression of a man should not waste time in looking at it at all, because a man's opinion proves nothing except when that opinion is based wholly upon the Word of God. Those who believe that God uses The Watchtower as a means of communicating to his people, or of calling their attention to his prophecies, should study The Watchtower with thankfulness of heart and give Jehovah God and Christ Jesus all the honor and credit..." (W 1-1-1942, p 5)

So, logically, if WT is not publishing the opinions of men as it claims, and is only publishing communications given directly from God and Jesus, then failures also can only legitimately be placed on the source of those communications- God.

JW's GB CAN NOT BE FALSE PROPHETS OR THE FALSE PROPHET BECAUSE THEY HAVE GIVEN THAT TITLE TO THE ANGLO AMERICAN, THE LAST WORLD POWER. ~~~~(prologos) Actually there is a shade of meaning that fits this idea Because of the way "prophet" is commonly used, there is a misconception that its basic definition is "someone who foretells the future," but this definition is too narrow. Prophet is better defined as "one who speaks for another." A true prophet, then, is a person who speaks for God, delivering a message that God has ordained him to give In a similar way, a false prophet also may not be in the business of foretelling the future. A false prophet is simply someone who speaks for another but falsely. False prophets either speak for the wrong god, or they claim to have heard from the true God but do not accurately represent Him or His words. At the very least, they speak out of their own human hearts It is true that, if a prophet foretells something that fails to come to pass, he is a false prophet (Deuteronomy 18:20-22), but foretelling the future correctly is not the determining factor when looking at false prophets. The real issue is whether one who claims to be representing God and speaking for Him, is doing so accurately or falsely. A prophet may accurately predict an event or demonstrate supernatural power, but if he is leading people away from the true worship of the true God, he is a false prophet. "Prophet is better defined as "one who speaks for another". In this broader definition JW's below.. w72 4/1 p 200 "Yes, the time must come shortly that the nations will have to know that really a "prophet" of Jehovah was among them. Actually now more than a million and a half persons are helping that collective or composite "prophet" in his preaching work and well over that number of others are studying the Bible with the "prophet" group and its companions." " He had a "prophet" to warn them. This "prophet" was not one man, but was a body of men and women. It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah’s Christian witnesses" If the prophet's message contradicts what is already established as God's Word, it is evidence that he lacks spiritual understanding. If his words do not line up with God's law and testimony, he is not speaking the truth.
