Tonight on the service meeting we discussed why Jws are not false prophets. Of the ten minute part two were spent discussing that Jws just had wrong expectations and only very minor changes over the years although nothing specific was mentioned. The other eight focused on the core bible truths that have remained the same over the years. According to the logic, there is no such thing as a false prophet, just many people over human history that had wrong expectations.

    Problem solved!

If you have to have a meeting to reinforce for yourselves why you are not a false prophet... there is something wrong ; )

To paraphrase Shakespeare: "The Watchtower doth protest too much!"

    Sloppy:

Shouldnt Jehovah have told them to write up in the WT and correct the false expectations before the time comes and fails ? Isnt that giving food at the proper time , aka before people get all warmed up and then the low of failure.

You talk about brain dead. They try to make a defense for

not being false prophets but the very next day in the door to door

work, guess what. We are living in the last days.

MP it is impossible to show them how wrong they are unfortunately. Another comment tonight was that we should be giving all glory to Jehovah and his organization. No one blinked with the thought of giving an organization the same glory that we should give God might be incorrect.

Spot the double standard. Other religions are false prophets but Jehovah's people are not.

They can deny being false prophets if they wish. They, along with countless others, are false teachers. They may likely deny that they "quietly bring in destructive sects" which is likely true because they have already brought them and formed an organization. And this organization denys it's members its owner that can buy them with his blood. They teach wrong things which makes them false teachers and when they say they are God's mouthpiece, they are then false prophets because the things they spoke "in his name" we're not true and did not come to pass.

Maybe the elders and pioneers should take the lead and wear a sign out in f/s saying "we ain't false prophets..if you don't believe me... READ my SIGN
