  So...you're off the hook. Now you've really had it. You're alive forever in a world of Jehovah's Witnesses and you can't kill yourself. But in the trillions of years that lie ahead, you should get to know every single one of them.

  Man, what couldn't you do with that much time.

  I hear the first trillion years are the hardest. After that, time just seems to fly!

  "Armageddon" isn´t an entity, i single all out slash aginst humanity. Its more of a spiritual "war" that is happening now, when the Christ returns, and during the millenia until the "conclusion of the systems of things". Its only serious wicked people that are a threat to thier fellow man or are clearly agianst the Father that might be expelled from earth.

  I have yet to get a straight definition of Armaggedon from any jw. I have said in the past that living forever under the WT regime would be worse than death.

  During 9/11 period, supposedly many inactive, df'd jws ran back to mama. But as things have died down and time has moved on, so have they. Fairweather jws?

  COLD STEEL- Armageddon's not going to come. It's an illusion, a fantasy made up by the WT Society and other apocalyptic religions to keep people controlled and in fear. Why post a thread about an unreality ? Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  If "THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT" (teotwawki) were to arrive, it would not be Armageddon, as defined by JW's or any religion.

  I would be glad I stopped wasting my time trying to please a God who isn't there, and isn't able to give me any reward for kissing his ass.

  That would not BE armageddon.

  Armageddon is not as the wts teaches it to be. Armageddon doesn't come until Christ has returned and gathered those who belong to Him as well as all the sheep and invite them into the Kingdom. Armageddon does not occur until after the thousand years... and it is an attack from those outside the kingdom against those within the kingdom; so that these - gog and magog - are devoured by fire. This protects those inside the kingdom. The goats that were not permitted into the kingdom... are deceived into thinking that they can take that kingdom... and so ride out against the sheep (those inside the kingdom).

  However, organizations like the wts will use wars and natural disasters to keep people afraid and enslaved within them. Then, when the tribulation does come (before Christ returns)... instead of listening to Christ and coming out of HER (religion) so as not to share in 'her' punishments... some of these ones will remain IN her, and suffer more because of it. Especially a religion like the wts, whose followers often believe that there is nowhere else to go... never mind that it is not a where, but a to WHOM they must go.

  But many ARE hearing Christ calling them OUT of her, and they are following His voice, even if they do not exactly know it. First people came out of the RCC, now many people are coming out of all organized religion, and some are also going to Christ alone, realizing that even the bible is just a finger pointing to Him, the true and living Word of God.

  There is no point of referenece for your question unless you have been in a position of death before your eyes. I have many cousins who were in Vietman, Gulf War 1 and our longest running War yet. My grandmother had 17 kids, so you can understand when the average kid of Grandma had 6 kids, it makes a hell of a family reunion!

  One of the born-again cousins was telling me while they were under fire in Afghanistan, two of the unbelievers who thought they were going to die were asking my cousin "Baptist origin" to hold hands and pray with them. These bad-ass men are part of the Special Forces, really it's big talk to say what you would do when there is no credible demise before your eyes like those bold soldiers in Afghanistan. Micheal had no problem praying with these seasoned soldiers asking Jesus to come into their lives. Did he mock them or say "Ah, No Atheist in Foxholes!", absolutely not, he rejoiced and welcomed them to the Family of God and Jesus Christ.

  Let's be realistic, most of your hearts would drop into your stomach if you woke up to see the Sun blackened and the Moon absolutely blood red, with a white glowing sky. It would scare me good and I believe, I can't phathom how much it would impact someone who denied Jesus Christ. There will alway's be that well placed twinge of fear the Society nicely put into our hearts that make's up fear we were never good enough to survive unless we were doing back flips in Field Service. The long-timers here on this board know what I am talking about, we lived off fear and you can't undue what the Organization did, it's like Porn, once you see a photo it's their for life. I hope everyone would repent if they saw the Sign of Jesus Christ and repented, only a demon would desire anyone here to die. We are suppose to love our fellow man and woman, not desire their Merry Destruction like many of us were guilty of in Field Service when a householder said "I am a Catholic and I will die a Catholic" only to have us snicker "Yes you will, Yes you will die a Catholic!"

  I love you all and do not mean any disrespect to any of you! I think we all would be so scared, even people we assume are so high moral and good, it would be absolute fear inspiring!
