I like the sense of community a church offers. Being a reformed church, does it offer outreach services for the neighbourhood? The reformed church I knew about had a "girls night out" for single parents, offering babysitting and free haircuts.

DoC, LOL. Hubby asked me how I had my ears tickled today. My pastor shared the story of Pentecost with a few facts to put it in context of history (Festival of Weeks, celebrating the giving of the Torah). As I related what I learned, hubby was nonplussed. And silenced, lol.
