@designs: That's certainly what the songbook used to show on the inside cover: a chorus of men in heaven. Perhaps some were women wearing fake beards to avoid getting noticed and kicked out. Strange that women could be accepted as "priests and kings" alongside Christ in heaven but don't get to do $% on earth in the congregation in the meantime.

There is no gender in heaven...spirits are neither men nor women per the WTS...the angels only took on a male identity when taking on human bodies....why take on a second class identity.

Totally off topic...but the Bible DOES speak about female angels. At least it seems like they are angels or some sort of heavenly beings:

There are many avenues of power for the reason men get themselves involved with religion , one of them
is making woman intensionally second class subservient people toward all men.
In fact back ancient Israel/Judea woman weren't even allowed into the temples of worship.
Mind you they were allowed to keep clean the outer parts of the Temple itself .
The Muslim religion does this too and many other religions that have come and gone in the past.
This isn't a social phenomena derived strictly from Christianity/Judism by itself, there are many so called pagan religions as well.
Its a very old social arrangement that woman in most cases were perceived to be bought for chattel just slightly above what a slave
would be in frame work of that social environment. Even to this day there are tribal civilizations which a man's wealth and prosperity is
measured by how many wifes he has/owns.
I wonder why the WTS. doesn't teach on how it was approved by the ancient Israelites to rape a woman who perhaps didn't want to get
married to a man but all the man had to do to force the marriage was to present some kind of valuable dowery to the father after the man raped
the woman/girl, she had to marry the man whether she wanted to or not ........ nice Hey !
This is in Scripture after all and we all know the bible is the inspired word of god himself.

Still haven't figured it out yet that the men who wrote the scribed words in the bible/Torah were lying and bullshitting to create power and

yeah, thats a big issue. If the scriptures are just fables written by men, anything goes, and women, being more intelligent than men overall, can do very well in all domains. But if the bible is more, inspired. we have to find a way to make the obedience highrarchy or lowrarchy work and meaningful. May be its better to have a limited , focussed mental capacity to lead, and it seems that that kind end up in-or are- the governing bodies of this world. attilla, hitler etal. It sure gives me peace of mind that that those that will be given immortality are the least ambitious but bright and caring beeings around. So if you cant restrain your ambitions now, no one will believe you will, once you can not be removed, replaced, restrained. Of course if you get into 1Cor 14, the Lord's law on meetings, the restraints are spelled out in even starker terms. most importantly: is the greatest privilege to bring new life, a whole new universe into the world and enjoy it not enough? On the heavens, the resurrection. The angels are scripturally depicted as males because their coming into exixtence come about asexually, by direct creation "only begotten" etc. so they are males, not able to give birth. That shows you how special it is to be female. Of course in the resurrection, heavenly, or the material that Jesus was discussing, there is no further procreation. Sex hormones missing genitalia probably having pre-puberty properties. Whenever asked about resurrection appearences by those that think heaven cant be heaven without sex ( not the moslems), I ask the males to look at their chests after a shower. What is the use of those nippels? there probably will be more useless nippels in paradise, and we will think nothing of it.
So sisters having received such 2 great gifts, mind and bodies, use it to the full within the constraint of present scriptural definition (even narrower than WT} and see the good outcome. Or, if the bible is not truth, go for it, no hold barred.
