I know the wheels of bureaucracy are slow, by why hasn't New York’s Department of Environmental Conservation done anything? Why not also sent this to a federal agency as well? And the media? In all that time, they may have gotten their act together and the evidence is long faded.

Where are earlier posts on the topic? Regardless, it was earlier than your post in any case.

If it was coincidental, then why did you mention it now? Has the investigation been concluded? Or some other reason for the timing?

I can see both sides of this. If you're going to use this to try to expose the WTS for their hypocrisy, then quoting a letter without a source will not work on followers and believers. Hell, even with credited sources and confirmation, a lot of true believers will still classify it as an apostate who's exaggerating and making up lies.

But, for those of us who don't really need convincing, it is information that while somewhat unsourced at this time, is another indication of how crooked the WTS really is.
