LOL Serenity!! That was amazing. Anyone who viewed that would see CULT. The way they encircled Laura, like they were trying to prevent some kind of contamination. It was very clear that they were fearful that INFORMATION was being blocked. Anyone on the fringe who saw that had to be moved. Of course they all clapped. If you were undercover, you'd have to clap. It doesn't mean they all agreed.

Soooooo----you need someone to stay undercover to be in charge of the camera work! The baby and mama could distract the JW mafia leaving the camera person free to get footage! LOL you have my number.

I can understand why you do this, it's very brave, and I'm sure you get a good feeling doing it. I have no doubt that many of us would love to do the same thing. But, IMO, the end result is that you are reinforcing the beliefs of most everyone in the crowd. I think their applause proves that.

I agree with this. You've got guts, I'll give you that, but I always think it's a shame when apostates reinforce sterotypes.

It was the JW`s that made the fuss..

How many grown men do you need to watch a mother and her baby,quietly sitting at an assembly..A small army?..

Then JW women joined in..

The girl and her baby were followed around by an ever growing crowd..

In the end they were escorted out by the police and an applauding JW Audience..

It became a Mob Mentality..

We should feel sorry for the Mob?..

What they did to that girl and her baby was dispicable..

There are no "Poor Persecuted Jehovah`s Witness`s" in this story..

Looking at it from the outside now, I can see the cultishness of the whole thing. It was an interesting experience and I got a kick out of watching it but I'll stop just short of heaping praise on y'all's behavior.

I can see how it can give you closure or satisfaction. I can see how an inside report like this can be put on YouTube to show outsiders what we've figured out... but it will do little, if anything, to open the eyes of the JWs in attendance.

An event like this can also be damaging to anyone who may be working to try to get a JW family member to try to be more open-minded about the issues of the WTS. Imagine that a JWN poster was there with their still-believing mate and was starting to make a few in-roads...and then the 'evil apostate hoard' invades. It scares the sheep back to the shepard. That poster may have some serious damage control to deal with now.

But it was a gutsy thing to do, I'll give ya that.

This fear of scaring the sheep has kept so many from acting. I don't agree with that. If they are that skittish, they are not ready. This wasn't a demonstration with many people and banners. They behaved well. We can only hope to get the ones on the edge---and they are the ones that saw the barricades. If I were a young person, this would have peaked my curiosity to such heights--I may be tempted to see what the brew ha ha was all about.

We know on a personal level why we have to walk softly---but this wasn't personal. It was a sign that said "hey we're out here, we care". And another thing is for sure---those police officers are unlikely to ever listen to the sales pitch with seriousness---nor will anyone they tell.
