  Once I wondered if there was a visit from intelligent peaceful organisms from out-of-space, who would they keep alive? They who are seeking to do good. Who is that ?Sorry everybody here. It is the Jehovah's Witnesses.

  Justice doesn't judge people on what their intent is. Justice requires that infractions be punished. When a person goes before a judge, it isn't for all the good that he did. It is for his crimes, his failures.

  Obviously Jehovah's Witnesses try to be and do good. I'm a 4th gen JW, I know. But so do lots of people. But in Hebrews 9: 27 it says that we will all be judged after we die.

  Why would God judge us if just trying to be good were enough? Obviously we need a personal savior as opposed to a corporate one (taught by the WT) because our sins and coming judgment will be very personal.

  But if the dead are conscious of nothing at all, then who cares?

  Why would God judge us if just trying to be good were enough?

  Because Jesus also tells us that no one is good apart from God, so we are being judged on an impossible standard.

  That bible just can't seem to make up it's mind!
