if the critizism is unfounded, you can dismiss it.
Sometimes, if criticism is unfounded, it's not so easy to just 'dismiss' as though it's water off a ducks' back. If the accusation/criticism seems petty it can hurt and anger the person being criticised and rightfully so. Especially when it's on an open forum.

I've never thought much of Six either.
If you've ever looked at previous threads through the years I have always been disturbed by posters who turn on those that benefit us. They did it with Maximus and they did it with Ray Franz and they turned on some very good posters with more Watchtower understanding than most of us could ever imagine. i'll always stick up for these types and appreciate their efforts.
If that makes me a pot stirrer, than get me some pot.
