Ah, yes, God knows how to punish men for their sinfulness. That's why men suffer so terribly from labor pains!

    This thread is hilarious...

You know something, it really is. Its hard not be a bit cynical regarding this stuff at times.

Reniaa/Debator, where in the bible does it say "Like I said the Bible principle is that you only need one person (not 2) to pass on perfection!"

    And

Where in the bible does it say "that perfection overcomes imperfection everytime but also that perfection cannot come from imperfection it needs One perfect source to be overcome (whether it be through birth, sacrifice or reward)." Thanks.

If Mary was a Surrogate Mother.............. than she wasn't Jesus' Mother.

And if thats true...what was so special about Mary?????

Why would SO Many religions Hold her So High if she was a..... get ready.... Vessel?

Plus.. how could he "father a perfect race" without a "perfect" wife?!

that the "Bride" is the body of believers that comprise the universal Christian Ekklesia (Church) (lit. "called-out ones"). In that verse the "New Jerusalem" is explicitly "the bride, the wife of the Lamb," almost universally considered to refer to Christ and his church. [ 1 ]

Darth plageis: Why would SO Many religions Hold her So High if she was a..... get ready.... Vessel?

If you are under maritime/admiralty law....you are considered a Vessel. If you read in the US Code, many laws refer to the artificially created person as "actor, vessel, goods, prize, person," and the documents on your state created entity are termed as "warehouse receipts".

Not only that, our flesh and bone bodies are vessels of earth elements of mud and clay and minerals that house a spirit being. We have a divine dual nature....all of us.

Reniaa's comment that perfection always overrides imperfection is a little worrying. In that all the Nephilim who came down and took human form were perfect when they had relations with women. There must've been a whole lot of boning going on, because the whole earth was filled with violence, which means there were a lot of perfect men running around, (even though they were stoving people's skulls in with clubs etc). Yet, Jehovah decided they were ALL wicked. This was BEFORE the WHOLE EARTH had oceans, there would have been just one big land mass. The world population must have been bigger than today!

There's no hope for any of us.

    If it's true...

Have JW's ever applied that concept to spirit creatures?

    Hi Sharah

I never said my words where exact bible wording but drawn from the the bible examples. That (one man) Adam brought sin to all mankind. That (One man) Jesus brings us back to perfection. That despite having the law no imperfect man could pay the price to gain perfection hense perfection cannot come from imperfection. And despite Mary inheriting imperfection from Adam (She did die) she could still carry a perfect Child without her imperfection overcoming that child's perfection (for whatever reason)
