It's puzzling to me why anyone is bothered if others are happy being one of JW anymore than someone is

    happy playing golf.

The JWS think and act with unabashed arrogance that they and they alone have been bestow the truth

via god's holy spirit by his earthly channel of communication, the WTS. ( Self proclaimed FDSL )

The reason why people are so pissed off with this convulsive commercialized fraud is because their families

are broken up and loved ones including impressionable children have died in subjective enslavement to the WTS.

Whether you realize it or not AIW humanity has its own self structured personal integrity,

therefore dethroning frauds like the WTS/JWS has a moral imperative, especially when it pertains to saving human life.

    Alice,

Have you ever told a householder in your ministry to check the encyclopedias to verify that Christ was not born on December 25? If so, how come those same encyclopedias that you trust to bring the truth about Christmas cannot be trusted to bring the truth about the date of Jerusalem's destruction.

Go to the library, check the encyclopedias, verify that Jerusalem was destroyed in 607 B.C.E. as the Watchtower asserts.

Being a happy JW necessarily includes recruiting other people and teaching them and their children tales of Armageddon and killer Gods while sweeping their prophetic failures under the carpet.

How do you equate that with golf?

If you object to this thread, your best bet would be to go to the library and scan these same books and prove that the scans here are photoshopped. Now, that would really put the cat amongst the pidgeons.

    Cheers

    Chris

Alice, how do you feel about having a Babylonish religion? You said yourself that that is where 607 comes from. We all know that without 607, the WTS has no authority.

My family probably recruited this guy's mother. Not all of us escape without some damage.

As I said before, wts likes misquotes and they like to discredit reality without providing proof. WTS scholars have their heads up their own asses just like aiw, where they don't want to see the facts but can't provide the proof for their imaginary 607. I can say this and that without making any sense and that's exactly what wts and other 607 supporters do. While they claim the reignal years may be 18 or so years longer than is believed they don't provide concrete evidence. They try to claim that babylonian scribes cannot be trusted because they lie, they try to claim there is not enough proof found, they may say that Persian kings changed dates on tablets to make themselves look better and on and on. How about showing us and the entire Fucking world your proof for 607. Anything AIW writes doesn't show any proof, quoting a dub "scholar" is sad. Show some proof, tablets or manuscripts that may make us see that your calculation can even add up, don't try to discredit entire world of historians because you claim to be God's people and you just know better, which means shit to everyone outside of your cult.

    Well said

Its a matter of accumulating evidence form archeology or accepting mystical philologies.

Remember all sources of information outside the JWS is Satan influenced and the ancient scribes

wrote misleading dates in a attempt to fool people 2000 years later who professed to be god's faithful servants.

    Isn't that right AIW ?

This individual here is an elder that has conducted extensive study into New Babylonian chronology.

Alice, watch out! He may well have made extensive study into new Babylonian chronology, but his analyses and conclusions are flawed on the most basic of levels! While on the surface they look scholarly and well-researched - especially to those unknowledgeable about the subject - actually when his claims and 'facts' are checked (and there is a LOT to check) you are faced with numerous, and often astonishing, mistakes and inconsistencies.

Many examples can be given if you're interested enough to follow this up.

The most thorough critiques can be found at http://user.tninet.se/~oof408u/fkf/english/epage.htm

Alice, please help the lurkers here by explaining why you don't have a Babylonish religion despite the fact its ultimate foundation is a Babylonian clay tablet.

How did they arrive at 606 BCE in the first place? Did history at one time make this claim? What is the origin?
