I think it's fabulous that something is finally being done about your healthcare system, but didn't I hear somewhere that this bill will only take effect in 2014? Isn't that cause for concern?

It appears that those that have the money to pay for healthcare will now be paying for the healthcare of those that do not. If I am wrong, please correct me.

Nothing happens until the Senate decides if it is going to accept the changes to its bill that the House passed. It is possible that the Senate parlimentarian could rule the House bill out of order, which means that Obama would have to sign the Senate version. This may get even more interesting.
