  I am sincerely sorry that many here have not expressed appreciation to you and your friend. Thank you for taking the risks to help everyone on the forum.

  To the other posters, assuming that Possible-san is based in Japan, the culture there is nothing like it is here. It is customary in Japan to ignore all emails, phone calls, and voice messages from someone who has not been properly introduced via a known associate--NO responses to cold calls. For Possible-san's friend to accept unsolicited emails from strangers is way outside the norm in Japan. Moreover, the culture there is so much more law-abiding (to the very letter as well as the spirit) that to provide a copyrighted file is almost unheard of. Because of both of those things, it is not merely polite, but essential to recognize that the friend is going way beyond the call of duty and wants to know that he is not being disrespected for doing so. Disrespect is, perhaps, the worst thing one can do to a citizen of Japan.

  Usually, in my forum, we provide to only special people.

  In this forum we do not discriminate. We are all 'special'.

  We are nearly all ex-members of the JW cult.

  We all need to be forewarned of what our families are about to be fed by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society so that we can help them see their errors and restore our relationships with our familys.

  You and your friend can help us by making WT material easily available to ex JWs, or you can help the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society further their aims by hiding information that you have available.

  I have a huge digital, and hard copy, library of WTBTS literature and everything that I have is available, and will be supplied on request, and without conditions.

  When I visit foreign countries I respect the local customs and make an effort to abide by them and to immerse myself in their culture. I do not expect them to bow to my expectations.

  In New Zealand we value praise that is earned over praise that is demanded. What is the tradition in Japan?

  I doubt that the Kool Aid WT will be available to all and sundry. The grammar of the 'announcement' that I saw only allows for downloads to individuals who are identified in the header. I suspect that their identity will also be embedded elseware in the file to enable the WTBTS to identify individuals who post copies on the internet.

  I have no idea what you are offended by here. The photo of the Caddy is on Wikipedia and is not the one of the V16s.

  My account at your forum was suspended without notification, or reason given, or breaking of any forum rules, or consultation and has not been reinstated. I tried to log in again earlier today. The thread I was participating in has been removed without any reason or notification given.

  A debate about who is the most offended may acceptable in Japan, but you are posting in a Western influenced website where such a debate may be looked upon with much merriment and clinking of glasses.
