You'll thank me once you're clean an sober.

Look! Another Obama's Witness!
Bush was a marginal president. But Beks gives him way too much credit. Now Dickie Cheney is a different story.
So you think he's less deserving of criticism because he allowed his presidency to be taken over by the Evil Dick?

No. At least he had a Dick. Obama has a Biden and Pelosi.
Ok. Pelosi has a dick, but Biden? his Vagina is starting to "chap"
I declare this thread over, because nobody still thinks Obama is quite so wonderful as they had hoped.
Nobody.
I think 'thrilled' is really misleading - do I think he's doing a good job as President? Yes.
I think the ramifications of a Palin/McCain duo would have sunk this country even faster and further than people whine about now. Do I wish Obama was pushig harder than he is? Yes - I understand his reasons for trying to work with people who actually hate him and want him to fail but I'm hoping he has a set date and time that he calls off the niceties.
So - I'm thrilled that the USA has a Democratic President and I'm thrilled that this President is actually trying to keep to his promise of 'change' , but am I thrilled with his performance so far? No, I am happy so far but I expect a lot more in the next few months. sammieswife.

Rather a back-handed compliment, don't ya think?
I wasn't "thrilled" with him in the first place. A very leading question and bordering on the whole messiah nonesense. I'm extremely pleased with what he is doing on many fronts. I'm displeased with his need to be bipartisan rather than get some things done. I'm displeased that he is not more willing to bring the last administration to justice. I'm still disappointed that he didn't choose a more progressive Judge for the Supreme Court, but that was to be expected. I never liked the fact that he was even semi open to coal. All in all, I'm "thrilled" that we have someone who is intelligent and articulate, and is moving even slightly in the right direction.
