i could take it or leave it...birthdays too. My wife never was and I dont think she fully understands why I am not into it.
But then I never was a 'joiner...' even when we did Cristmas as a kid it was a lot of running around and someone in the family always had hurt feelings over something.
I really wish I could be more normal.

I'd love to do it if the whole family was involved. We used to celebrate wedding anniversaries and they were fun at the time. I'm sure xmas would be even better.
It took me two years after getting df'd to join in the celebrating. I think it was the guilt of doing it at first. Then after marrying my second husband, I got real involved in it with his family. I go all out now. I look at it as celebrating the holiday season and being with family; verses the religous part of it. I'm not religous AT ALL!
I really enjoy getting presents for my son and seeing his little face! I missed out on so much that I am trying to make up through him!!
