No, in my family, I make sure all the bills are paid on time and it is my husband who buys whatever he wants without regard for what bills are due.

I don't know, I don't speak for all women, I only speak for myself. Tell me is it normal for all men to go on the internet and call their wife a bitch and a mental patient because she is irresponsible with money?

Blow two pay checks in afew days, and then I have to scrounge around to make things work. This has caused many fights and discussions to no avail. She does not ever apreciate the fact that I worked my ass off for her and all I get is her aroggant rude attitude. This week we ran out of food because of her spending {I get $1,590 a fortnight and she makes $390 a week which does not cover HER clothes make-up etc.....she just rang me at work what do you think she wanted? To "borrow" some cash since she doesn't have enough for her bills, whats new.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming this is 100% accurate, then no I don't condone this behaviour in any way. However, I would forgive a spouse who was horrible and selfish with money before I would forgive one who went on the internet and called me a bitch and a mental patient to a bunch of strangers. There are many types of irresponsibility and immaturity. They don't all involve money. Cog

JWDers....Again W-007 needs a place to vent some so lets show some support and try to give balanced perspective...

That's exactly what I was trying to provide with my post, a balance to the one-side slew of vitriol provided by the other posters against a woman they've never met or talked to.

Really, the only valid complaint 007 had in that whole list is that she spent recklessly and left them short to pay the bills. I agree that is irresponsible behaviour and needs to be dealt with. However are the comments inspired from his original post really a balanced perspective?

Assuming it is true and we have a wife recklessly spending money, she has been called:

bitch, mental patient, crazy, koo koo, user, selfish cow, materialistic, looking to shank him, toxic hair brain, monster etc

He has been given stellar advice like, "cover your ass", "get a legal eagle in case she tries to call the cops on you" "get yourself a ho".

I guess one person's definition of "balanced perspective" is another's "vitriolic anger" .

The reality, as you have noted:

We have numerous posters who have believed everything written by the husband without question and have joined him in decrying his wife with insult after insult.

A clear sign that the inmates have taken over the asylum and very typical of the type of poster this site has attracted in recent years. Gullible, uninformed and lacking in discretion.

You know, you are correct. I called her a crazy wife.

But I gave him the same advice I would give anyone: get a lawyer. If his wifey showed up here, I would tell her the same thing.

So, I addressed my insult towards his wife.

You are also correct that there are always two sides to every story. I remember how horrible I felt when I found my hubby's stash of porn, or when he jacked off in bed with me "asleep" beside him. So no one really knows what goes on between a husband and wife.
