WITNESS 007- It sounds to me from how you describe your soon to be ex-wife that she is quite materialistic to the point of really being a " user " to the hilt ! I would listen to these people telling you to get an attorney ! I was married two times before and both times the women took more of the home furnishings with them and left me with zip, virtually nothing. You have to protect yourself

Like everyone else said: Get a lawyer NOW! Don't leave the house. If she wants to start dating, then she needs to be at least be lady-like enough to insist her new friends pony up for a motel room, for Christ's sake. Get your own checking and savings accounts and cancel any joint accounts and credit that you have together. If she refuses to pay half of the bills, then keep a record of the bills you pay by yourself, (especially the mortgage, cars, etc). If you want to keep the dogs, keep a record of all of the expenses you pay for them.
