BTW...my Jewish History research turned up that in Jesus day, only the High Priest said the name, and only once a year in the Most Holy....anyone using it other that that would have been beaten and ran out of town, or stoned.

Also, here is an interesting observation....the name Jehovah appears exactly six times a page in the NWT old testament....it appears a whopping .8 times a page it the NWT new testament....but in reality it appears 00.00 times per page in any truthful new testament....oompa

you can not RESTORE that which has never been built...oompa

Elders only have standard counsel for the depressed.

    Do MORE:
    1. Field Circus
    2. Literature reading (okay, the Bible along with the WT literature, but only the NWT) and studying of WT literature
    3. Meeting attendance
    4. Praying to Jehovah (but only the God of WTBTS, Jehovah)

This counsel has an opposite effect for many depressed ones.
They often say that they don't feel that Jehovah blesses or approves them.
The elder tells them to do MORE and they will feel Jehovah's blessing/approval.
They do MORE, but their depression is still there.
Now they KNOW that Jehovah rejects them after they tried so hard.
This could lead to suicide or deeper depression.

1, From the good ol Truth book...an important point...

    ***

tr chap.2p.13par.5 Why It Is Wise to Examine Your Religion***

    5

We need to examine, not only what we personally believe, but also what is taught by any religious organization with which we may be associated. Are its teachings in full harmony with God’s Word, or are they based on the traditions of men? If we are lovers of the truth, there is nothing to fear from such an examination.

    2. And from the newer Proclaimers book, an even more important question that EVERONE should take the time to answer for themselves...Especially the last question...this is an INVATATION to put the history of his work to the test! No wonder WT only gives us WT material dating back to 1950....thank goodness for the Internet...oompa

    *** jvchap.5p.42 Proclaiming the Lord’s Return(1870-1914)***

This history is of special interest to Jehovah’s Witnesses. Why? Because their present understanding of Bible truths and their activities can be traced back to the 1870’s and the work of C. T. Russell and his associates, and from there to the Bible and early Christianity.

Who was Charles Taze Russell? Does the history of his work give evidence of the Lord’s help and guidance?

I agree with OTWO!!! In fact, the counsel given by elders is "universal" for any issue you're dealing with. Every time you follow their counsel and things work out or problems go away, they credit Jehovah's blessing as the cause, but if things get worse or don't work out, they credit Satan's persecution. Most people can work out their problems or get used to them so that they don't seem as bad over time. Either way, the elders want you to think that your following their counsel is what really made the situation better. The bottom line- The elders are never wrong!

People who never even look at you while you are faithfully attending meetings suddenly "miss" you when you've been away from the meetings for a time! WTF!??

    Conditional friendships...

Oftentimes a scripture that is cited in WT articles actually have nothing to do with the subject of the article or even paragraph where it is cited. To "understand" it, the reader must either have a working knowledge of JW doctrine or have such a person explain how the cited scripture fits the material. "...He was pierced for our transgressions..." has nothing to do with Jehovah's sovereignty and does not, in any way, explain that Jesus died to uphold it! (WT article "Are You For Jehovah's Sovereignty" a few weeks back).

A VERY high percentage of the men who are placed in positions of responsibility are either; a. related to someone already in such a position; b. wealthy.

There is entirely too much emphasis on meeting attendance and field service, so much that everyone in the bORG is judged by it!

And finally, one of my favorites- Nothing is really that important until the week before the circuit overseer arrives!!!!!

JW will Df anyone of their members for taking a blood transfusion....once DF that means you will never gain eternal life.

Just one place in acts 15: 29 it talks about abstaining from blood...... which it can be interpreted many different ways.

Why is it that if it was a matter of life and death, Jesus never mentioned it?

Why is it that in all of Paul's writings and the other apostles it was never mentioned once if it was so important in God's eyes.

GB is blood guilty for allowing this doctrine to be inforced, they know full well they screwed up on this one and that's why they're allowing their members to take fractions of blood.

If the Almighty God is truly directing this organization and they are his mouthpiece, why doesn't he tell them the right things to say? Why do they flip-flop, flip-flop and contradict themselves every other day? Russell said that no new light could ever contradict old light. Not true with the WT.

If God can create the whole universe in its complexity with master craftsmanship, why is the WTS incapable of ever getting anything right the first time? (Note: the 144,000 were sealed by 1935, except for replacements. See 2008: Sorry, we were wrong. Gotta wait on Jehovah. Did Jehovah lie to them about 1935? Do you really want to worship a God who lies and doesn't know what he's doing from one year to the next? If he has a plan for salvation, why doesn't he know what it is?)

The UN is satans organization in opposition to Gods kingdom - the WTBTS was an NGO for 10 years and lied about it's association .

JWs - The truth is not in them!

The JWs often cannot answer a question without quoting from the Watchtower or some other of their society’s publications. JW responses to questions about their faith often result in avoiding the question being asked and telling others to read their watchtower web site.

A JW believes the strangest and most unbelievable parts of the bible to be LITERALLY true.

JW's can not see, it proves nothing when an organization says they are right because they SAY SO.

A so called conscience matter....Is really JW written material with the scriptural principles that would heavily encourage you to their line of thinking highlighted.

The sole fact that the designation Jehovah's Witness is obtained after babtism the Jdub way shows at least 2 things:
1)they cannot be positively identified as true christians due to their works. 2)Jes 43 which is taken as the basis for the name does not apply since it is a matter between God and in individual, not an organisation and an individual.

To sum it up: load of made up stuff.....

    Cheers
