Forget 1975 then (for the moment) if AE is so proud it never happened.

Can anybody deny 1914? And the "generation that would never die"?

BTW, don't I recall some published material on 1925 as well? Or is an early 1920s WT now apostate material?

    1914 was 'the Creator's promise'...what happened?

And here's the deal - you don't need Blondie to help you find a special WT article -

Wasn't it boldly printed right there inside the front cover for years and years?

Most important, this magazine builds confidence in the Creator's promise of a peaceful and secure new world before the generation that saw the events of 1914 passes away. –Awake!, January 1, 1995, page 2.

Jehovah's prophetic word through Christ Jesus is: "This generation [of 1914] will by no means pass away until all things occur." (Luke 21:32) And Jehovah, who is the source of inspired and unfailing prophecy, will bring about the fulfillment -The Watchtower, May 15, 1984, page 6-7.

If you are a young person, you also need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this present system of things. -Awake!, May 22, 1969, page 15.

The apostle Paul was spearheading the Christian missionary activity. He was also laying a foundation for a work that would be completed in our 20th century. -The Watchtower, January 1, 1989, p. 12.

large amounts of egg on face, but isn't it strange when these failed prophecies are exposed to Dubs their response is that they are down right denied or called Apostate lies

Flat out denying or dismissing them as apostate lies is the only way for the dubs to reduce the cognitive dissonance that arises from learning that their governing body god is a LIAR.
