Siamsa,
If a proven liar told you that they were lying to you, would they be telling the truth and would you believe them ?
I would not listen to anything a proven liar had to say, let alone juggle a conundrum.

HS,
I am with you part of the way when you say that you would not believe a liar. Who in there right mind would ?
When you say 'listen', do you mean believe ?
Against the backdrop of Internet issues in this regard, I am sure that any reasonable person would have no issue in standing up for a person they knew and also understanding your motives for asking questions.
They do not have to answer them after all, but you DO have to do your due diligence to protect yourself.
Well said HS.
I have had folks ask me about some online people that I've met in Real Life. I've had no problem whatsoever giving my opinion and/or observations (and we all know what that's worth). I understood their motive and I respected where they're coming from.
For what it's worth in my nearly 6 years of online life, I've had one bad experience with someone in Real Life. Interestingly, that experience was with someone I had known nearly 20 years ago in my old congregation. So go figure.
But I do subscribe to the belief system that, generally speaking, what you throw out is what you receive. I've met some very good people here, and I cherish those friendships.
Be well,
Chris
I can readily detect IMPOSTERS because I subscribe to
Wow, Honesty, how can you go wrong with a magazine like that?
Especially ones that help you tell real chickens from fake ones.
True impostors would not know how to spell "impostor."
I'm an impostor. I'm not really Finally-Free. I'm his bird, Rocco, and I spend most of my days in a big cage full of toys. I bit Walter's nose tonight and locked him in my cage because he wouldn't give me any cheese.

Maybe they did like me and looked up the word on www.m-w.com and found out that either spelling is acceptable.
Sorry to go off topic, but here's an impostor that tripped me out! I always thought Billy Tipton was a man - until now:
