yum i used to buy those big yorkie puds and fill em with roast spuds and veg and veg gravy, tasty! I am totally stuffed now and the kitchen looks like a bombsite, why do i always clean and tidy it before i start cooking, got to start again now!
Definately going to do stew and dumplings later in the week now!

Sure, I have to step out for a couple hours but when I get back I'll give the recipe it very easy and my kids like it (a very good thing)

I cheat with my dumplings, I deep fry em for a few minutes before putting them into my roast cause that way they keep their shape much better, fattening but oh so good!

I haven't had dumplings since I was a kid when my mom made them. She made a cherry dumpling dessert that was incredible.
