I don't know about the USA problem but in Europe we have too many illegal immigrants the real problem being that they are mainly Moslems and we have enough of them as it is. They produce too many children and are unassimilable in Christian society at least up to the present time, the earlier legal immigrants of the 1950's and their offspring (children and grand children) have not assimilated. But who knows perhaps they will after five generations.

Whats the point of enforcing vaccinations, medical exams including TB tests on citizens and felons but allowing 12-20 million others to wander around unchecked? None of it makes sense to me....swife

Officials at the Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control said Friday they have contacted 255 of the 274 U.S. passengers aboard an international flight on May 12 with tuberculosis patient Andrew Speaker.
The CDC is advising all passengers to be evaluated for signs and symptoms of TB and to have skin or blood tests for TB infection as soon as possible. If the tests are negative, they should be repeated in eight to ten weeks, according to the CDC.
Speaker, an Atlanta lawyer now known to have an extensively drug resistant form of the disease known as XDR TB, flew from Atlanta to Paris on a flight shared by Air France (#385) and Delta Airlines (# 8517).
Speaker and his wife, Sarah, were the only U.S. passengers on a return flight out of Prague, Czech Republic, that flew into Montreal. They then drove into the U.S.
International health agencies are notifying passengers from other countries of the need to be tested.
Speaker is still being treated at National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver. Tests of his sputum taken since his arrival there last week have continued to be negative for TB bacteria. While he is carrying the most drug-resistant strain of TB, doctors there have said Speaker is "relatively non- contagious."

Our Government has sold us out. I don't blame the illegals but-Their trying to give amnesty to thirty million and they can bring their families (and they have very large families) so were talking about adding oh around possible two hundred million new illegals to become legals and pay for their children to go to college and give them five years of no taxes and they don't even have to drive with a license plate, The average American taxpay already owes nearly one hundred thousand dollars due to the deficit due to the war and now their going to pile this on. Deficit spending will sky rocket, the American taxpayers dollar will plunge in value and you will be living in a third world. I understand the majority of illegals come here looking for opportunity not availiable back home. But soon they will be leaving a third world country only to live in another one. And they will be angry, and they will blame somebody, quite possibley they will be told that you are to blame..

This is ridiculous. First of all, the immigration bill is all but dead. It's not going to get done this year. Second, there are 300 million people in the United States right now. Some of the largest estimates of the illegal immigrant population put the number at 20 million (many put the number closer to 7 million). You're trying to tell me that the immigration bill will allow the population of the United States to increase 66%? Balogna.
Also, the now-defunct bill, in case you didn't know, does away with family preferences and puts a priority on bringing in skilled workers. There is no provision in the bill that would automatically let the newly legalized immigrants bring in their entire family. Your statement is just flat out false. It's a moot point anyway since the bill has been killed in Congress. It'll take a minor miracle to revive it this year.

Mexico is a very wealthy country - with a very elitist class.
Every dollar spent in U.S. taxes for social services for illegal aliens frees up additional cash to be sent south as part of the annual remittances which provided $20 billion in 2005. According to the CNN news show Lou Dobbs Tonight (3/21/05), "Remittances, as they're called, are expected to become Mexico's primary source of income this year, surpassing the amount of money that Mexico makes on oil exports for the first time ever."
So when el Presidente Vicente Fox complains that the "dignity" of Mexicans living illegally in America requires that they receive free healthcare on the U.S. taxpayer's dime, he is really talking about increased remittances to keep their whole corrupt system afloat.
Consider these relevent facts:
• Mexico has the second-highest highest Gross Domestic Product in Latin America, after being #1 for several years over second-place Brazil.
• When measured in GDP per capita, Mexico ranks #1 as of 2005, ahead of Chile and Venezuela.
• According to Forbes magazine, a substantial proportion of Latin American billionaires, 10 out of 26, were Mexican as of 2005.
• Mexico raises less revenue through taxation than nearly any other Latin American country, just 12 percent which is one reason why the nation's wealth is not better utilized. By comparison, the United States takes in 25-28 percent of its gross domestic profit in taxes. Even Brazil taxes itself at twice the Mexican rate.
