Recommend a GOOD film - no snakes, planes or spandex superheroes.

You haven't seen a twist ending until you've seen "Fight Club" with Brad Pitt and Edward Norton.

A good movie would also include the oldies:

    To Kill A Mockingbird

    The Thin Man Series

Any Cary Grant movie will do.

Now on to not quite oldies but goodies:

Fletch w/ Chevy Chase (very quotable movie)

    9 to 5

    Private Benjamin

I know I am forgetting a ton of other funny but good ones.

And Little Miss Sunshine is great! Some really good laugh out loud scenes

I know of many other movies as good as these, but they tend toward snake/plane/spandex territory, like The Triplets of Belleville, Catch Me If You Can, or Pecker.

Gregor.....was "Rabbit Proof Fence" about three little girls trying to escape from a terrible orphanage? The movie I'm thinking of had me "into it" for days after I saw it. Very haunting and throught-provoking, if it's the same movie.

I just saw a movie with a surprise ending on IFC a couple of weeks ago and I CANNOT recall the name of it! It was something about some kind of "Sisters" and took place in a Catholic girl's boarding school. Pretty intense!
