I find it amusing that since there are 8,500 people still partaking this means that 135,500 people were chose from 33 AD to now, 2005. So in roughly 1,972 Joe Hoba could only find 69 people a year on the entire face of the planet worthy of heaven?

6 billion people divided by 69 = one really small freaking %

    Question...........

What hope does the WTBS hold out for an infant or child that was born to anointed parents years before 1935, when there was apparently only the heavenly hope ...is the kid raised to heavenly life to rule as a king/queen or become an orphan in the new earth?

that was lets say the kid died in early infancy or childhood.

Total Pioneer Pubs (Aux. + Reg. Pio.) dropped by 15,227, a loss of 1.8%

Average Hours for ALL PUBS (including pioneers) was 14.726 down 1.2% from 14.909 last year.

Counting the fact that 15,277 pubs were no longer in the Pioneer column (in other words, combining all publishers) there was only a .9% increase.

Basically, anyone who is happy about these stats is happy about getting much less done with more manpower.

    Raphael,

In the JW perspective, your question is valid whatever the time period considered, since no one but anointed, dedicated and baptised Christians are supposed to go to heaven. I guess a deceased child of 1st-century Christian parents would become an orphan on Paradise earth too...

InquiryMan, what statistic have you read? In 2004 there was 64 countries with negative or zero growth, and not 22.

Let me see if I've got this straight.

Like, here in Australia, the JWs spent nearly 12 and1/2 MILLION hours selling their Good News? (If someone's got a calculator, how many man-days is that?)

And at the end of the year they have lost 134 door-knockers !!!

I've been in sales all my life. Either get a new Sales Manager or fix the product.

    (P.S. - Don't they have babies?)

Oops.........Sorry...........They only spent 9 and 1/2 million hours out selling their product. My honest mistake

Please excuse me for passing down incorrect information. I did take it from another board. It was to good to be true then :-( However, it was still an increase of countries with decrease with 10 per cent.
