Early Editions of The New Creation (Vol 6) on the New Covenant
by cabasilas inseems like i've read that the earliest editions of the new creation by russell taught that the new covenant was in force for christians of this era.
then after russell wrote that, he changed his views and put the new covenant as something future and not now in effect.
he then later changed the text in the new creation to reflect this new view (i've been told this was about 1909) and this helped precipitate what's been called the new covenant schism.

Who Really Controls the Governing Body
by LevelThePlayingField insince we neither can handle a challenge to god's power nor change the actual processes he has in place for the salvation of men, we will influence the men at our disposal.
we will use these men to formulate a religion and establish doctrines that heap reproach and shame to the very processes god has in place for salvation.
we'll establish our own process.. we’ll inspire men to change the bible and make it their own bible.

Perspective which the GBoJW should implement.
by Nicholaus Kopernicus inon 30th january 2019, the rt hon jeremy hunt mp (foreign & commonwealth office) launched an independent review into the persecution of christians world wide to be chaired by philip mountstephen - bushop of truro.
in his address to the audience, jeremeyhunt stated... .
"... freedom of worship is a fundamental human right... freedom of worship is the invisible line between open societies and closed societies.. where freedom of worship is hampered or prevented, then usually that’s a sign of lots of other things going wrong, and we wanted to make sure that the uk is doing everything to champion the values that we all believe in.".

"They are so keen, they need to be locked up for the first 6 months!"
by stuckinarut2 indo we all remember that expression when we were jws?.
someone new would "come into the truth", and be so enthusiastic and keen, that we would all joke about "locking them up for the first 6 months because they would preach to everyone".
jws thought that the passion for "learning the truth" was the issue.

Trashy Watchtower Corporation Carts In Public Places, Can Cities Ban them?
by Brokeback Watchtower inthey have a very big child abuse enabler international reputation in the courts can these things be a reason for banning these stupid ass carts that claims to have all the answers to mans hardest questions.. why should every library have to permit them to plant their lame ass carts close to the entrance.. i'm thinking that soon due to all the bad publicity surrounding the jehovah witness cult leaders that cart witnessing will come to be seen as a very big waste of time by all it's members that have become hall less thus missing a shit load of meeting and a beginning to start thinking for themselves.. i'm sure many jws hate this type of work even now, even though it's an easy way to get your time in and not be labeled inactive or keep the elders off your back.
have you noticed that a lot of carts don't have a jw near by?
i never see anybody at the carts where i live, i've even asked people nearby and nobody knew who put the cart there.

Found this in the studies in the scriptures
by Tobyjones262 inin the book atonement i found this.
"christian people are becoming more and more awake to the fact that a great tidal wave of unbelief is sweeping over christendom.
not the blasphemous kind voiced by thomas paine and robert ingersoll, but the cultured kind represented in the scholarship of our day with makes the danger all the more insidious.

Calling Cofty and others regarding evolution
by dubstepped inso i have started down the path of trying to understand evolution, and to get the linear lies that the jws planted in my head out of it.
i bought an audiobook called "evolution: what the fossils say and why it matters" by donald prothero.
i heard it recommended on an atheist podcast that i listened to.
