I haven't posted in a while, and neither has Linda. I saw the thread earlier asking about us, and I want to thank you all so much. You are the finest friends, and people, we have ever known, and we love you all.
The reason we haven't been around for a while is because Linda has been in hospital having some tests. Until today, we didn't know the problem, and didn't want to worry anyone by posting about it. Apart from that I have been vitually living at the hospital, work aside, just lately. My employers have allowed me to take some of my next years holidays early, so I'm off this week.
We had the diagnosis today, and the news is very bad, awful really.
Linda has cancer of the pancreas, advanced, and it has spread to other organs. It is treatable, and we will be discussing that later this week. We both knew that the doctors were testing for it, but were desperately hoping it would not be that. I am numb with shock, we both are. I am typing this through tears, it's so hard to bear such news. Please keep Linda in your thoughts and prayers. I will try to keep you updated.
