My parents went to the assembly this weekend. They were telling me about disciplining children..

The speaker was saying how all babies are born selfish and demanding for their own needs and not anyone elses. The jist of the talk being about discipline, and training children ...ie taking them out for a good beating.

Well, I don't know if any of you have ever 'Just Seen RED!' but I did!

I let rip on mind control cults, abusing children by forcing them to sit listening to boring rubbish and be dragged round streets selling shit magazines. The smacking room.!!!!!!!!

They shut up and said nothing, but I know I was on a roll I was so ANGRY!!!!!

I was still fuming mad when I got home. I don't think I've ever cycled so fast...I may have broken some Olympic speed times!

Gill, that has been my rant on many a related thread, the WBTS's total disdain for children, if not outright hatred. Children are fodder for the organization, to be broken like horses and made to pull the plow for the society.

Children are born totally innocent, its the adults that fill them up with baggage they will someday have to deal with. If anything its the adults that could use the beatings, if the GB needs someone to do it I'd be happy to give them a sample of their own medicine.

Hi Big Dog!

I remember some very little children getting beaten so badly in the mother's room that they were rigid with shock. Their little faces a seared in my memory with the pain and fear! Their mothers were red faced and angry. Why didin't I report them to the NSPCC! Because I was a brainwashed fool. I'm angry with myself, them, my parents and that the WTBTS is still spouting this crap!!!!

God! I'm so mad today with them!

Gill, that's just a terrible memory to have. Nothing turns my stomach and breaks my heart more than to see a child brutalized. Its always the children that seem to pay for the adults follies.

My mom used to say "spare the rod and spoil the child" in order to stop us kids from whispering "child abuse" when we heard the crap being beaten out of other kids in the Kingdom Hall bathrooms.

I've heard of JW children being used as a selling point by their dub parents. They're so well behaved and respectful, no wonder seeing they're carrying around the fear of a all seeing vengeful god and a sadistic parent that will carry out punishment in his name.
