For the lovers of Jung and synchronicity - yesterday's experience
by TheOldHippie inone, synchronicity.
totally amateurishly explained, it means something like acausal meaningful coincidence.
to make an example rewritten from jung, a woman tells him about her dream of a foreign special type of beetle.

Just a little note now that Nelson Mandela's will is read
by TheOldHippie innelson mandela shared with his first wife, evelyn, a passionate commitment to a cause.
evelyn, who has died aged 82, was a jehovah's witness with no interest in politics.. as mandela wrote in his autobiography, long walk to freedom: "when i would tell her that i was serving the nation, she would reply that serving god was above serving the nation.
a man and woman who hold such different views of their respective roles in life cannot remain close.

Look! It was very good or: Evil in the Animal Kingdom
by TheOldHippie ini have fed a number of birds regularly thru winter, and among the species were some doves.
this spring, two of them took a liking for each other and teamed up.
for a couple of weeks, extensive construction work was jointly done and resulted in a nice little nest, undoubtedly a cosy home for the small family which expected to multiply.

Famine 1975! - or Famine 2050?
by TheOldHippie ini remember the quotes from the "famine 1975!
" book in the truth book from 68, and the impression of that period, that a major breakdown in the worlds ability to feed the billions would or could happen because of nature catastrophes, water shortage etc.
when i read articles today, not sensational articles but summaries of scientific reports on the greenhouse effect, climate change, disappearance of species and their importance for the food chain etc.

So sad
by TheOldHippie inprobe of fatal toyota crash in southlake 'inconclusive'.
posted on january 27, 2010 at 4:20 pm.
southlake neighbors heard the noise, but only one person witnessed what happened last month when a blue toyota avalon raced through a stop sign at more than 45 mph, blasted through a pipe fence, and overturned in a pond six feet deep at lonesome dove road and burney lane.. "she did not see a driver behind the wheel just before it crashed," the investigator wrote after interviewing the woman who saw the accident.. details of that deadly december day make up southlake police department's 87-page report obtained by news 8 on wednesday.. two witnesses went in first, followed by police, the report stated.

Tool against private questions by JC?
by TheOldHippie inbeing a bit slow, i just finished reading the january 22 "awake!
", and back-translating from "polish" into poor english, on page 9 is the article "a reasonable view on the peace of your private life" or something like that (as said, back-translated ....).
ok, on page 12, second paragraph left column under the sub-heading "a reasonable view", first couple of lines, it is stated: "the creator has the right to know all our private affairs, but people have not.
