I've been working on this a bit more and I can now say that I have collated 35 years of yearbook statistics, including the latest figures from 2015 in the current yearbook.
Thanks a lot for your hard work.
hello again folks - as promised in my last thread here, i've been working on turning yearbook statistics into excel spreadsheets.. coincidentally, today is my 25th birthday (spare a thought for a fader).. i've now updated the spreadsheet with yearbook data all the way back to 1988 (the year i was born), therefore it now contains 25 years of statistics.. there were a lot of countries changing around and for some it was possible to create a continuation of data.
some are a simple change of name like south-west africa to namibia.
others, for example - in 1993 with czechoslovakia splitting into two countries (czech republic and slovakia) i have added an extra row that provides a continuation of the data, combining czech republic and slovakia back together as if they were still one country.
not seen this before, or at least haven't registered it before.
maybe it's just a traditional style?.
i mean it's basically a glorified cattle trough?
It's a new form of "cheap sheep dip."
1. concerns about the effects it would have on yours and your family's social life.. 2. fear of being shunned.
3. the stress it will cause.
4. the thought of feeling isolated.

These are the thoughts that run through my mind constantly. The only way I can think of making a clean break is if we as a family moved home to another area and just fade. That is the only solution I can think off.
This worked well for me.
If this move gives you and your familiy "freedom" - got for it.
over the years here on this site i have found over half of the folks can hold their own with any minister.. why when we leave the borg we become proficient on any subject on the bible.. why did we go down that road?
my intention was to get close to jehovah (searching the bible), but i. guess i found lucifer.
i'am ask all the time, how did you go from a true believer to calling the bible a book.
James Mixon
Why when we leave the borg we become proficient on any subject on the Bible.
Why did we go down that road? ...
I'm a born in. After leaving the religion deep in my brain there was this little question:
"What - if they still have the truth?"
So I went "down that road". And I learned all about Russel, Rutherford, the history and all the man-made rules and doctrines. Now I'm free and I know, they don't have the truth.
#7 birthdays.
what the org teaches: .
"the bible never refers to a servant of god celebrating a birthday.
Another event in a bad light:
(2 Samuel 4:5-7) 5 And the sons of Rimʹmon the Be·erʹoth·ite, Reʹchab and Baʹa·nah, proceeded to go and come to the house of Ish-boʹsheth about when the day had heated up, as he was taking his NOONDAY SIESTA. 6 And here they came into the middle of the house as men fetching wheat, and then struck him in the abdomen; and Reʹchab and Baʹa·nah his brother themselves escaped detection. 7 When they went into the house, he was lying upon his couch in his inner bedroom, and then they struck him so that they put him to death, after which they removed his head and took his head and walked on the road to the Arʹa·bah all night long.J.W.'s should be forbidden from carrying out such an "bad light" practice.
while i am not able to recall them all at this time, i remember so many instances that when a number was quoted in the bible, especially large numbers, they were all "rounded up" to the nearest hundred or thousand.
for instance the angel killed 185,000 syrians, not 184,879. sampson killed a thousand men with the jawbone of an ass, not 961. and on and on on the even rounded numbers.
i would guess that it could be agues that these numbers were correct but is that realistic?

We know the Jws believe that each bible writer was inspired to write down the words in their book as it was somehow bestowed upon them via holy spirit.
Sure?
So why Luke made a mistake?
*** it-2 p. 130 Judas ***
Luke’s presentation of this incident evidently is not in strict chronological order, for Judas had definitely left by the time Christ commended the group for having stuck with him; that would not fit Judas, nor would he have been taken into the “covenant . . . for a kingdom.”—Lu 22:19-30.
(Luke 1:3) 3 I resolved also, because I have traced all things from the start with accuracy, to write them in logical order to you, most excellent The·ophʹi·lus,So JWs believe, that the logical order is inspired, but not the chronological order.

concise thoughts from the wtbts.
par.2) however, there are numerous situations for which the bible provides no specific command.. par.3) in the absence of specific laws, how can we know what choices will please jehovah?.
par.16) many matters could be decided one way or another, and jehovah would still be pleased.. .

„For Those Loving Jehovah, “There Is No Stumbling Block”
§ 19: Sadly, over the years some have let the imperfections of others knock them out of the race. Differences in viewpoints in matters of conscience have become stumbling blocks for them. (1 Cor. 8:12, 13) If someone offends us, will we allow this to become a major issue? The Bible admonishes Christians to stop judging, to forgive others, and to avoid insisting on personal rights. (Luke 6:37) When you face a possible stumbling stone, ask yourself: ‘Am I judging others based on my own preferences? Knowing that my brothers are imperfect, will I let someone’s lack of perfection take me out of the race for life?’ Love for Jehovah can help us be resolved not to allow anything another human does hinder us from crossing the finish line.
my son sent me a wonderful song a month ago on this thread.
