  § 19: Sadly, over the years some have let the imperfections of others knock them out of the race. Differences in viewpoints in matters of conscience have become stumbling blocks for them. (1 Cor. 8:12, 13) If someone offends us, will we allow this to become a major issue? The Bible admonishes Christians to stop judging, to forgive others, and to avoid insisting on personal rights. (Luke 6:37) When you face a possible stumbling stone, ask yourself: ‘Am I judging others based on my own preferences? Knowing that my brothers are imperfect, will I let someone’s lack of perfection take me out of the race for life?’ Love for Jehovah can help us be resolved not to allow anything another human does hinder us from crossing the finish line.

  Stumbling others is brought in, even if in a congregation of 99, one says they will be stumbled (reason unclear or ridiculous) the 99 must give in to the one. Elders will tell you that there is one that could be stumbled but you cannot talk to them about it, they will be nameless or in many cases nonexistent being used by the elders to manipulate others.

  Another point for this ist, that ONLY the R+F could stumble others.

  The Governing Body false teaching about 1975 stumbled a lot of JWs. But every JW would say, that a JW can only stumble by himself - if he is weak. A JW could not be stumbled by the Governing Body.

  if you are romantic, and believe in the underdog, then tonight is an occasion when an extraordinary sporting achievement can become reality.

  i am not saying it's as great an achievement as man landing on the moon, but i hope this thread continues after tonight and concludes with wales beating germany in the final on sunday.

  now that really would be an achievement more remarkable than man landing on the moon,,.. anyone else watching the game tonight?.

  the degradation of the governing body members continues on.

  mark sanderson gives a talk regarding his visit to belgium for the memorial this year and was travelling from korea to munich to brussels, belgium on the day of the belgium terrorist attacks.he cannot wipe the smirk on his face as he relates his experience, with no regard whatsoever of all those unfortunately affected by the attacks.

  in fact, he personally found god's hand affecting him personally, allowing him to attend the memorial as planned and a kh dedication.he is that privileged during his flight travels that internet was available to him, enabling him to catch up on current news and to contact branch's.

  so it has been a couple of months since me and my family have attended a meeting.

  we have received a few calls and visits.

  but what do you say when people ask "where have you been"?

  Ask back: "Who spread the rumor, I would not attend the meetings?"

  Not going into THIS hall doesn't mean, you don't attend at all.

  Maybe you are going to a different hall. So there judgement isn't OK.

  This works for me thince 3 years.

  And not one JW asked more questions like "what hall you are going".
